Why Bodhi Wealth
Education that works
entirely in your interest.
We are not a sales channel dressed as a classroom. Here is what that actually means in practice.
Back to HomeSix things that shape our approach
These are not aspirations — they are the practical ways Bodhi Wealth is different from most financial education on offer in Bangkok.
Facilitators with market experience
Our lead facilitator spent more than two decades working within Thai capital markets before moving into education. The programmes draw on that experience directly — not on textbooks from elsewhere.
No product sales, ever
We earn nothing from fund companies, insurance providers, or any financial institution. If a programme mentions a fund, it is purely as an educational example — not because someone paid for the placement.
Capped group sizes
Every session runs with six to twelve participants and no more. Questions get real answers. Discussion is genuine. This is a deliberate choice, not a marketing statement.
Content built for Thailand
All factsheets, case studies, and market references come from Thai sources: SET-listed funds, Thai bank deposit structures, gold pricing in baht, regional market comparisons. Not imported frameworks from London or New York.
Materials you keep
Printed workbooks, annotated glossaries, and personal investment principle statements are produced for each programme. These are designed to remain useful after the sessions end — not to sit in a folder.
Paced for real lives
Sessions are offered in the evenings and on weekends. Reflection prompts are written, private, and not shared with the group. The Patience Programme runs over three months to allow ideas to settle properly.
Real expertise, not sales training
Many financial education programmes are designed by marketing teams whose goal is to introduce participants to a product range. Our lead facilitator has no products to sell and no sales targets. The curriculum was built from the ground up around what adult learners in Bangkok actually need to understand.
- 20+ years in Thai capital markets before teaching
- Curriculum reviewed annually against current Thai market conditions
- No commission income, no product partnerships

What participants tell us matters
- The absence of sales pressure made it possible to concentrate
- Thai examples made the content feel immediately relevant
- The workbook was something they could return to
- The pace suited people with full working schedules
A service model that respects your time
Adults at midlife have full schedules. Our sessions are designed to deliver focused, usable understanding in a concentrated format — whether that is a single day, four evenings, or six sessions across three months. Nothing is padded. Questions are encouraged throughout.
How we compare to common alternatives
No names. Just an honest look at how different financial education models actually work.
What you will not find elsewhere
These are specific to how Bodhi Wealth is built — not standard promises common to all education providers.
Live factsheet analysis
In the fund factsheet workshop, participants can bring factsheets from their actual holdings for anonymous group discussion. This is rare: most providers would consider discussing participants' real investments a liability. We consider it the point.
A written personal statement
The Patience Programme produces a written statement of personal investing principles that participants take to any licensed advisor they choose. This is a deliverable designed to make your next advisory conversation more productive — not to replace it.
Private written reflections
Rather than group exercises that put participants on the spot, our saving programme uses written reflection prompts completed in the workbook privately. You engage with your own situation at your own pace — and share only what you choose to.
Quarterly content updates
Fund factsheets and market examples are reviewed and updated before each new cohort. You are not working from examples that are three years old. The Thai market changes; our teaching material reflects that.
